L'Essential Pack é dotato di una tasca con cerniera per i piccoli oggetti, mentre il sistema MOLLE sulla parte anteriore e sui lati é utilizzato per l'espansione individuale. Lo zaino é anche compatibile con un sistema di idratazione. Realizzato in CORDURA® e materiale con trattamento IRR. Sia i materiali CORDURA® che le cinghie, le chiusure a strappo e le fibbie sono conformi agli elevati standard della Bundeswehr tedesca TL 8305-0278 e TL 8305-0281 per quanto riguarda l'effetto mimetico IRR (IRR 650 - 1250nm / 10 - 42%).
