Il coltello tascabile Spyderco Spydiechef é stato progettato dal designer polacco Marcin Slysz. É adatto per il trasporto quotidiano (EDC) e anche per l'uso in cucina per tagliare il cibo in piccoli pezzi (ricorda il coltello Santoku giapponese).

Questo coltello ha una lama elegantemente curva, a spigolo vivo, in acciaio LC200N con finitura satinata. L'acciaio é stato sviluppato dalla NASA, é resistente alla corrosione ed é a base di azoto. La lama si apre manualmente con il pollice attraverso un foro nella lama ed é fissata con un Framelock.

Il manico di questo coltello é costituito da due solide piastre in titanio, una delle quali incorpora un robusto meccanismo Reeve Integral Lock (RIL). L'impugnatura é dotata di un foro per il cordino e di una clip da tasca reversibile sul retro.
