Alcool denaturato gelificato (a base di etanolo). Brucia completamente senza residui, inodore e senza fuliggine. La pasta non è esplosiva, non è tossica, è facile e sicura da maneggiare. Si adatta anche a una serie di supporti per scaldavivande. Ideale per accendere fuochi o preriscaldare stufe e lampade. Brevi strisce di pasta per scintille su stufe a benzina o cherosene facilitano il processo di accensione. Adatta anche come piccola stufa (ad esempio sotto una griglia pieghevole 052400 o in un fornello) o come aiuto per l'accensione della legna.
