Omega 6 tent is a spacious spatial solution for larger groups or family camping.
The flysheet is made from polyester with polyurethane coating, which gives it a water column of 4,000 mm. Seams are sealed against leaks with heat-sealed tape. The lining is made from nylon with polyurethane coating, which gives it a water column of 10,000 mm.
The poles consist of laminate segments with a diameter of 9.5 and 11 mm.
The tent is double-walled and consists of an inner tent and outer shell – flysheet. The inner tent has a rectangular floor plan with an entrance on the longest side. The outer tent has two entrances that can be propped up to create an awning over the entrance.
The tent concept is based on the principle of a pole construction threaded through sleeves of perforated material on the outer side of the tent. After threading the poles through the sleeves, the flysheet and inner tent (which is suspended beneath the flysheet) are erected simultaneously. The advantage of this method is that the inner tent can be separated from the flysheet and the flysheet can then be pitched independently, creating a single-walled tent.
Ventilation is located in the upper part of the dome. Ventilation windows are shaped so that wind does not tilt them. This prevents air escape even in rain with strong wind.
Tent construction
Thread the structural poles through the perforated sleeves on the outer side of the flysheet and slide the steel spikes threaded on the flysheet floor into the tubes at the end of the poles. The inner tent is secured to loops on the inner side of the tent. Anchor the pitched tent with pegs and cords and secure with plastic clips.
