Grazie al trattamento Oilskin, il cappello é estremamente resistente alle intemperie e protegge in modo affidabile da pioggia, neve e sole. Si ripiega facilmente e può essere riposto in modo compatto nei bagagli. La corona é dotata di 3 fori di ventilazione su entrambi i lati. Un cavo d'acciaio é incorporato nel bordo per aumentare la stabilitá della forma. La fascia del cappello é in pelle e presenta una fascia intrecciata con passanti per rivetti.
