On the water it is glare off the surface that limits you most — you cannot see below it and your eyes tire fast. Split Shot is built for exactly that problem: a high-wrap rectangular frame, polarized Prizm™ Deep Water lenses and a detachable leash. The frame is hat-compatible and a water-resistant case with an attachment clip is included. The fit is intended for medium to large faces.
HDPolarized against glare off the water
Prizm™ Deep Water Polarized lenses cut the glare off the water surface and let you see below it. The HDPolarized layer is produced as a single-layer lens, so it creates no double images and no distortion. Light transmission is 12 %, which is filter category 3 for bright light.
Plutonite® material and HDO® optics
The Plutonite® lens material filters 100 % of UVA and UVB radiation up to 400 nm plus some of the harmful blue light. HDO® optics keep the image sharp across the whole lens and the Three-Point Fit construction holds the lenses in precise optical alignment. The lenses meet or exceed the optical and impact requirements of ANSI Z80.3.
