An all-metal US Army-style MFH compass for navigating in the field and working with a map. The needle is liquid-damped, so it settles quickly, and the sighting lens with notch enables precise targeting. The sturdy metal body withstands rough handling.
Precise bearings and map work
The sighting lens with notch together with the sighting slot in the lid lets you take a bearing on a distant target. The scale in degrees and mils and the 1 : 25,000 ruler make it easy to transfer directions and distances to the map.
Readable even at dusk
The fluorescent markings remain visible even in low light, so you can use the compass early in the morning or in the evening. The metal loop is for hanging it up so it is always at hand.
