La spirale antizanzare é efficace contro le zanzare e altri insetti volanti. A tale scopo, la spirale deve essere montata sul supporto metallico allegato. La spirale viene poi accesa all'estremitá e la fiamma viene immediatamente spenta. A questo punto la spirale si illumina e protegge l'area desiderata. La spirale deve essere collocata su un cuscinetto (ad esempio un piattino) per raccogliere la cenere. Conservare la presa per un uso successivo.
