The SOG Trident Elite knife is designed for professional use. Its rapid deployment enables assisted blade opening. It is equipped with a safety strap cutter integrated into the handle, and a steel spike for breaking glass. The hollow ground blade with a length of 95 mm is made from AUS 8A steel and has a black surface finish. The blade is secured in the open position by a reliable XR locking mechanism and in the closed position also has an integrated blade lock. This lock in the closed state serves primarily to secure the blade when cutting safety straps or rope. ASSISTED OPENING Simple and rapid one-handed opening regardless of which hand you hold the knife in. Very straightforward operation even in gloves or in stressful situations. AT-XR LOCK Maximum reliability and performance, capable of withstanding a force of 680 kg, provides maximum blade safety when open and ensures that the knife opens only when you intend it to. SAFETY FEATURES A safety strap and rope cutter and glass breaker for extreme or emergency situations are fully integrated into the Trident AT knife. JAPANESE AUS 8A STAINLESS BLADE The blade is made from Japanese AUS 8A stainless steel. The steel is noted primarily for its cutting properties with excellent characteristics and the blade is highly resistant to bending or breaking. AUS 8A provides an ideal combination between blade durability during long-term use and ease of sharpening.
