Per sviluppare aste pieghevoli che soddisfino veramente tutti i requisiti, Komperdell ha dovuto tornare al tavolo da disegno e ripensare e riprogettare completamente il modo in cui le aste pieghevoli sono costruite. Le nuove aste pieghevoli FXP sono fino al 30% più leggere, offrono un collegamento solido tra i segmenti dell'asta e, soprattutto, l'asta si dispiega completamente da sola quando viene rilasciata. La stretta connessione meccanica elimina il consueto tintinnio delle aste pieghevoli.
