Folding poles are smaller than standard telescopic poles. To develop folding poles that truly meet all requirements, Komperdell had to return to the drawing board and completely reassess and rework the way folding poles are constructed. The new FXP folding poles are up to 30% lighter, provide a firm connection between individual shaft segments and, best of all, when released the pole unfolds completely on its own. A solid mechanical connection eliminates the usual rattling of folding poles.
