On a mountain hike there comes a stretch where your dog has to be carried, and during protection training you want to be sure the harness sits firmly on it. The K9 Thorn One Camo harness handles both, and you can also use it as a rehabilitation harness. Its base is waterproof Cordura, onto which the harness frame is sewn; underneath it is complemented by spacer mesh, so air circulates better under the harness and it is more comfortable to wear. However, it is not designed for rope transport or parachute jumps.
Ready for lifting and for gear
You will appreciate the two attachment points when getting your dog used to heights and being lifted. During transport, you clip straps onto the side D-rings to relieve its hind limbs – however, the straps under the hind paws for lifting training are not included; you can buy them separately. Gear attaches to the MOLLE system, which has 3 slots in size M and 4 in size L. The polyamide straps resist the effects of weather and their colour lasts.
Choose a different harness for ropes and parachutes
Do not use the One Camo harness for rope transport or parachute jumps – it is not designed for that kind of deployment. In that case, choose a harness with Cobra buckles.
