Specification
Specification
On operational duty the loads are high, and both the collar and its buckle have to withstand them. The K9 Thorn Cobra-Delta 38 mm collar is designed for special tasks and closes with a Cobra buckle from the Austrian company Austrialpin – the type you will come across in high-alpine climbing and extreme sports. You adjust the circumference with an Austrialpin adjuster made of aircraft-grade aluminium.
Clip the lead straight onto the buckle
The D-ring is not a separate part – it is built right into the buckle, so you clip the lead straight into it. The buckle has a loop strength of 18 kN and a breaking strength of 9 kN; its body is made of 7075 aluminium, the pins and clamping bar of stainless steel and the clamps of brass. The Austrialpin adjuster has a strength of 15 kN.
Your dog's name or unit emblem on display
You can attach your dog's name or your unit's emblem to the collar's hook-and-loop panel. The webbing is made of polyamide which, according to the manufacturer, lasts longer than polyester, polypropylene or cotton. Weather does not harm it, the colour stays fast, and everyday wear will not cause abrasion, fraying or unravelling. The webbing ends are heat-sealed.
