The Sawaj Peak 2 is the lightest two-person tent in the Husky range — it weighs just 1.35 kg. It gets there by leaving out the main poles: your trekking poles form the supporting structure, and a single short duralumin pole holds up the foot end. This double-wall tent from the Ultralight series is made for anyone who travels light and wants a two-person shelter with minimal load.
Trekking poles instead of tent poles
Instead of a conventional pole structure, you pitch the tent with the trekking poles you carry on the trail anyway — saving hundreds of grams. A single short duralumin pole (ø 8.5 mm) keeps the foot end open, and lightweight duralumin pegs provide stability even in wind. Packed, the tent measures just 38 × 15 cm.
Siliconised ripstop nylon with taped seams
The 15D ripstop nylon flysheet is protected by a silicone coating on the outside and a polyurethane coating with taped seams on the inside — the 3,000 mm H₂O water column is certified to ISO 811:2018. The breathable 20D ripstop nylon inner tent keeps air circulating, while the 15D ripstop nylon floor with a polyurethane coating (3,000 mm H₂O) stops ground moisture. The fabric also features enhanced UV protection.
