La tenda Bird è una tenda a doppia parete con pali durawrap da 7,9 mm di diametro. La tenda esterna è realizzata in poliestere 185T con una colonna d'acqua del guscio di 4000 mm/cm2 e ha cuciture nastrate. La tenda interna è realizzata in nylon 190T traspirante e una zanzariera a rete per garantire la circolazione dell'aria. Per il pavimento della tenda è stato utilizzato poliestere 190T con una colonna d'acqua di 7.000 mm/cm2. I picchetti di ancoraggio della tenda sono in acciaio.
