Il coperchio ha un incavo più profondo per contenere facilmente i carboni ardenti. I forni olandesi di GSI Outdoors sono progettati in modo che 10" entrino comodamente in 12". Il forno olandese può essere incassato nei carboni ardenti o utilizzato come bollitore sospeso sul fuoco.
