Ciò è reso possibile dal manico in fibra di vetro appositamente laminato, dai montanti in fibra di vetro ad alta densità e dal materiale in poliestere leggero come una piuma. Il materiale è notevolmente resistente agli strappi e il rivestimento in Teflon® ha un'efficace resistenza alla piuma e allo sporco. È dotato di un'impugnatura rigida in schiuma EVA con un passante regolabile per il polso che consente di maneggiarlo in tutta sicurezza, soprattutto in caso di tempo molto inclemente.
