Hiker Micro Crew socks weren't the first we ever knitted (those were running socks), but they're by far our favourites. Once their comfort, durability and fit became the foundation for hiking, we never had to stop knitting them. So when we had a few surplus mid-weight yarns in stock - raw material supplies with no future - we decided our best women's hiking socks were a great place to find out whether we could use them before we recycled them. And dang, the colours hit. Limited supply, but still with a lifetime warranty.

- Women's micro crew socks have an average length of 19.05 cm from heel to cuff - expect them to show approximately 12.7 cm above a low hiking boot or just above a standard hiking boot.
- Performance fit means they don't slip, bunch or blister, guaranteeing top comfort on the trail.
- These limited edition socks are knitted from surplus yarns - they use leftover material to create exceptionally unique patterns and keep raw materials out of the waste stream.
- Reinforced footbed and Achilles padding improve the comfort of our socks and help them last longer.
- Merino wool is on the trail like it's at home, naturally wicking moisture to keep feet fresh and dry in any weather.
- Our year-round mid-weight socks thermoregulate to wrap your feet in steady comfort as temperatures change.
- "Still" in Still Made in Vermont, USA is personal. We knit all our socks in our manufacturing facilities in VT - we can't imagine it any other way.

These hiking micro crew socks have soft terry loops under the footbed and targeted protection over the ankle and Achilles - our favourite cushioning style.

We make one thing and do it better than anyone else - ask any hiker and you'll probably hear the same thing. To be able to unconditionally guarantee a hiking sock for life, it has to be durable. It has to keep its comfort and it has to fit for long miles on the trail. Socks that come back under warranty tell us how we can improve. And we do. Our warranty is a promise to you, but for us it's a standard. We haven't made our best sock yet, but with every step we're getting better.
