Most, if not all, knives with retractable blades have the same handicap. Their blades are thin, narrow, fragile and small. And when extended, their locking mechanisms are extremely weak. Now Cold Steel® introduces a folding knife with replaceable blades that are 1.5 mm thick and in strength approach fixed knives. Like our Click-N-Cut knives, this knife also features elements of our strong Tri-Ad® safety catch.

It comes with a drop point blade and a serrated working blade. Both blades can be resharpened or discarded and easily replaced without much effort. Installation or blade replacement is simple. With the blade open, simply press the safety catch, fold the blade approximately 70° and remove it. Fit the new blade and you can get back to work. Simple, economical and remarkably practical.
