La lama del Tiger Claw carbite è in acciaio inossidabile CTS XHP. Si tratta di un acciaio che si indurisce all'aria con un alto contenuto di carbonio e cromo. È resistente alla corrosione e ha anche un'elevata durezza dopo la tempra. L'impugnatura dei karambit di chiusura è in G-10 - fibra di vetro. La superficie dell'impugnatura ha una consistenza ruvida e non scivola nemmeno con le mani sudate o bagnate. Questa linea di coltelli presenta anche l'esclusivo brevetto Cold Steel® Tri-Ad Lock™. Il blocco impedisce al coltello di chiudersi da solo o involontariamente, anche dopo la naturale usura del tempo.
