Counter Point XL di COLD STEEL appartiene alla linea di coltelli EDC. Counter Point ha un'elevata resistenza alla corrosione e allo sporco. Ha una lama molto affilata e resistente in acciaio giapponese AUS 10A. Questo acciaio inossidabile martensitico ha ottime proprietà di resistenza e viene utilizzato principalmente come materiale per utensili da taglio. Rispetto all'acciaio AUS 8A, mantiene meglio il filo ed è più resistente all'abrasione. L'acciaio è stato poi trattato termicamente per ottenere il perfetto equilibrio tra mantenimento del filo e facilità di riaffilatura. Grazie alla punta robusta, il coltello velni offre una grande penetrazione attraverso il materiale. Il coltello Counter Point XL ha una falsa lama superiore, in modo da affilare solo la parte inferiore della lama. Il manico è realizzato in materiale Griv-Ex ed è rinforzato con inserti in alluminio trattato termicamente. Questo rende il Counter Point non solo molto resistente, ma anche comodo e sicuro. È adatto al porto occulto.
