Counter Point I di COLD STEEL appartiene alla serie di coltelli EDC. Counter Point ha un'elevata resistenza alla corrosione e allo sporco. Ha una lama molto affilata e resistente in acciaio giapponese AUS 10A. Questo acciaio inossidabile martensitico ha ottime proprietà di resistenza e viene utilizzato principalmente come materiale per utensili da taglio. Rispetto all'acciaio AUS 8A, mantiene meglio il filo ed è più resistente all'abrasione. L'acciaio è stato poi trattato termicamente per ottenere il perfetto equilibrio tra mantenimento del filo e facilità di riaffilatura. Grazie alla punta robusta, il coltello velni offre una grande penetrazione attraverso il materiale. Il coltello Counter Point I è dotato di una falsa lama superiore che consente di affilare solo la parte inferiore della lama. Il manico è realizzato in materiale Griv-Ex ed è rinforzato con inserti in alluminio trattato termicamente. Questo rende il Counter Point non solo molto resistente, ma anche comodo e sicuro. È adatto al porto occulto.
