Il corno di emergenza di Coghlans è molto forte! Funziona semplicemente come un corno a bocca ed emette un suono udibile fino a 120 dB. La membrana può essere facilmente sostituita con una qualsiasi pellicola sottile e flessibile. È dotato di una protezione per pietre e ramoscelli per proteggere il diaframma in gomma e viene fornito con un cordoncino da strappare. La struttura in polipropilene resistente galleggia ed è facile da vedere grazie allo sgargiante colore arancione.
