Highly durable quickdraw with 6 mm steel connecting cord, CAMP Oval Quick Link carabiner; 10 mm and CAMP Gym Safe carabiner with anti-rotation lock. The cord eyes for connecting carabiners are treated on the inside with a steel insert that prevents the carabiner from chafing against the cord. The middle section including the end is enclosed in a transparent plastic protector, which both protects the rope from fraying and environmental damage, and makes it easier to check the condition of the steel core if needed. Steel permanent quickdraws are used on climbing walls, outdoor sport routes or on shared projects – simply where the quickdraw is not removed from the belay point. A huge advantage, besides being several times more durable compared to standard nylon quickdraws, is that if necessary they are harder to steal thanks to the threaded carabiner.
