Nanoflex steel tip and spike for hard snow and ice

The head and the shaft are made of 7075 aluminium alloy, while the pick tip and the bottom spike are reinforced with Nanoflex steel – exactly the parts that need to hold in hard snow and ice, and they do so without adding much weight. The axe is not intended for vertical ice, mixed terrain or intensive step cutting.

Ergonomic grip and oval shaft profile

The shaft has an oval profile that is easy to hold even with gloves on. The lower end finishes in a sharp spike that gives good purchase in snow and on mild ice. The leash is not included – it has to be purchased separately.
