VOLUME WITHOUT THE HELMET

A light hold, a matte surface and hair that doesn’t crack like a lacquered helmet when you move – that’s the result. It is down to a pair of salts – sea salt and Epsom salt – that roughen and lift the hair, and the polymer PVP, which helps it hold its shape. If a tousled beach look is enough for you, you’re done.

A BARBER’S TRICK

For years, salt water was barbers’ secret weapon for pre-styling. When the hair has a rougher surface, styling products adhere to it better – clay, paste or pomade then hold significantly better, even if you use less. Just let the spray dry and then reach for your favourite product.

VOLUME FROM THE ROOTS The salt lifts the hair away from the scalp, so even fine hair doesn’t lie flat and lifeless. BEACH TEXTURE A matte surface and grittier structure, as after a whole day by the sea. A PRIMER FOR STYLING Clay, paste and pomade hold more firmly on roughened hair. CARE AGAINST DRYING OUT To stop the salt from drying out your hair, the formula is complemented by panthenol with seaweed extract.

Usage:

Apply the spray directly to your hair and immediately arrange it with your hand or a comb into the shape you want. You can let it air-dry, but with a hairdryer and comb you’ll achieve more pronounced volume and, with a little practice, waves too. If your hair is harder to comb after application, dampen it slightly before spraying next time.

Sea salt and Epsom salt are responsible for volume and a grittier texture, while the polymer PVP helps hold the shape. Panthenol together with bladderwrack extract nourishes and hydrates the hair.
