With summer and nice weather comes the time for trips and camping. However, staying out in nature also means adventurous cooking without the comfort of kitchen appliances. Camping doesn't mean you have to sacrifice quality or taste of food. You might be surprised what you can cook at any campsite. We have a few ideas for you.
The key to preparing tasty meals while camping is planning and preparation. Before every trip, you can surely estimate at least how many days you plan to camp, and therefore how many meals you'll be cooking at the campsite. Plan your meals so that you use as few ingredients as possible and so that the ingredients overlap between meals. This way you'll pack as little as possible. And for those of you who don't feel like cooking, we have an offer of ready-made hiking meals. Just unwrap and eat.
Scrambled eggs
Scrambled eggs are a classic that will always please, and you'll surely enjoy them for breakfast or after a long hike. What will you need? Eggs, bacon and salt. Everyone knows the recipe. On a grill pan we fry the bacon so that it releases fat, then add the eggs and stir. Finally, add salt.
Secret tip from us: Transporting fragile eggs can be tricky. That's why you should crack the eggs at home and pour them into a bottle. This way you'll save a lot of space in your hiking backpack, and the eggs won't break during the trip.

Nachos
Nachos are a great idea for a quick lunch. Steam pumpkin or sweet potatoes, add bell pepper, tomatoes, black beans or green beans. Later add raw onion and grated cheese. When the dish is ready, crush tortilla chips on top and you're done. You can manage everything in one pot on a small stove.
Hot dog
Hot dogs are a filling and very quick meal that doesn't require that many ingredients, and you can make them anywhere. Cook the sausages on a stove or in a kettle, cut the bun, insert the cooked sausage and add sauce. Anyone who wants to spice up the recipe can add onion, herbs or bacon.
Our tip: Swap the classic sausages for grilling sausages or smoked sausages.

Grilled chicken and potatoes
This dish is suitable for the whole family, and all you need is a grill pan. Place the chopped chicken and potatoes on the pan and fry on each side. You can season the finished dish with a bit of BBQ sauce. You can replace the chicken with fish.
Our tip: You can also prepare this dish at home and take it with you to the campsite. On the day of departure, wrap the food in foil and put it in the fridge. Then all you need to do is heat it up on the grill or over the fire.
Pancakes
Pancakes are a popular dish for both children and adults. In the case of pancakes too, the grill pan will be your real helper. Pancakes are an excellent dish, especially if you need to feed a larger number of people. If you don't want to bother with preparing the batter and carrying ingredients, buy a ready-made pancake mix powder, which you turn into batter by adding water. Done. Tasty and quick.

For a quick breakfast, bring ingredients that only need water, such as coffee, tea and instant porridge. Granola with yogurt or bread with processed cheese also make excellent and quick meals. We understand that you don't want to spend hours cooking, which is why we have chosen simple and very quick meals for you.
